A rich and creamy chocolate mousse made with the surprising addition of ripe avocados.

Ingredients:
  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • A pinch of salt

  • Fresh berries for topping

Instructions
  1. In a blender or food processor, combine peeled and pitted avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  4. Top with fresh berries before serving.
