Cheddar Jalapeno Cornbread

A savory cornbread with a kick, featuring melted cheddar cheese and spicy jalapeños.
Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup melted butter
1 egg
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Chopped jalapeños
Instructions
Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add buttermilk, melted butter, and egg. Fold in cheese and jalapeños.
Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
